The World Urban Forum is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization convened by UN-Habitat. It examines the most pressing issues facing he world today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies, climate change and policies. WUF brings together national, regional, and local governments, academics, business leaders, urban planners and civil society.
ICID was involved in several training and networking events in association with GIZ, ADB, Cities Alliance, and other premier national and international organizations.
The events and panel discussions were pertaining to sustainable urban planning, visioning for large urban local bodies for pro- poor development and tourism, heritage conservation and visioning for pro poor development in Asian cities.
