The research project includes detailed architectural, historic and photographic documentation of ancient jain tirths of Gujarat that are in existence for more than 100 years. The project also included documentation of local stories, tales, mythological significance of the place as well as development requirements of the trust, temple complex and the local administration.

As an addition, the project also included detailed research on principles, ethos and significance of Jainism and its various aspects. The process included series of consultations with subject experts, religious gurus, leadership of Jain community and devotees .
